Beer Smith Mashing Instructions?

I will soon be doing my first mashing. I have put in the info into beer smith for the beer i want to make and chose Single Infusion, Medium Body, No Mash out This is what it gave me. I am planning to heat the water and add it to  a 3 Gallon Rubbermaid Water cooler with a grain bag then add the grains to the bag in the hot water stir a bit and cover to help maintain the temp.


Step Time 60 min
Name Mash In
Description Add 4.37 qt of water at 167.7 F
Step Temp  154.0 F

Now my question is.
is 167.7 My strike temp or the temp. i need to have it at when i add the water to the water cooler to achieve proper strike temp. (mashtun)


 
The temp you make the water before you pour it into the cooler.  ASSUMING you have "Adjust Temp for Equipment" checked.  Make sure of that check mark and that you have your equipment profile selected correctly.
