Program setup, browser

There's obviously a browser functionality in Beersmith to show us all reports and so on.
Is this relying on the browser installed on each computer, or is it a genuine browser built into Beersmith? If so, is it possible to change some of this browsers properties?
I am specifically thinking of a way to turn background printing on. By default, all (most) browsers have this feature turned off, presumeably to save toner. But each browser also have an option to turn it on again. Can this be incorporated into the options section?

  It uses Internet Explorer (IE) - so you can play with the settings in IE if you like to change things.

  Unfortunately the IE options are not directly accessible in activex, so I have not been able to integrate them into the program itself, but you can adjust them from IE.
