Beersmith hangs when tyring to print Recipes
« on: July 10, 2017, 12:08:24 PM »
Beersmith Desktop 2.3.12 for Windows running on Win-10 PRO x64 hangs when trying to print recipes or even access the printer dialog to change settings.

Processor: AMD FX-8350-8-CORE
RAM: 32GB Kingston HX-Fury
Video:  GeForce GTX 960

Has anyone else reported issues with this?

Do you need any other information from me?

Please advise.

Thanks,
FP

I've not had any other reports, but if you want to try this workaround you can:
  - Go to the main BeerSmith.com download page and get the latest updates (2.3.12) and install it
  - Then open BeerSmith and go to Options->Reports and set the "Print to browser" option
  - This will force printouts to your browser instead where you can print them.

Hi Brad,

As mentioned I believe I already have the latest updated version...
so I tried the option suggestion and I get the following error message:

"Server not found - Firefox can?t find the server at www.d.com"

It appears to be trying to load the following in the browser address - [http://www.d.com/My%20Documents/BeerSmith2/Reports/bsxtmp_12188.htm].
