minor usability issue on new build -- Mac

Using the mac version on OS X 10.6.x

when clicking on the  following: Profiles -- Ingredients -- Tools --- etc.      The yellow information bar stays visible way too long and obscures some of the choices available in the options window that pops up. The yellow info bar should disappear when the option window pops us. See attached screen shots  

I am having the same experience, as well.
