Thought some of you might be interested in this.
It's an illegitamate offspring of CJinJ's Hourglass IPA, using Belgian specialties and a Belgian yeast cake from my strong ale. Also threw in some Belgian-friendly hops to replace the NW-style CJ uses. This will not win any style awards, but I'm really looking forward to tasting it.
My plan was to brew it this past w/e, 12/18, but life got in the way. Looks like 12/25-6.
This may very well be the first "Belgian" ever brewed with a BU:GU of 1:1!
[Edited hops changes. It looks complicated, but it's just some Pearle for bittering, then a quarter ounce of two hops at 5 min intervals, from 55 min to flameout, then some dryhop.]
