When Beersmith calculates my estimated pre-boil gravity, does it include any sugars that will be added?

For example, I complete mashing and sparging, and then add some amount of sugar. Does BeerSmith include the sugar in the pre-boil gravity estimate?

Thank you!
Jim

Fairly certain it does, because I've had several "oh crap, I'm light" moments until I realized I had not yet added sugars.

It also factors in the color of dark candi syrups, so if you adjust your water chemistry based on SRM (aka Palmer), then you may wish to back out the syrup to get the mash color for water chemistry sakes.

Yes, it does.  I manually have to calculate what my post mash gravity is for partial mash prior to adding top off water.
