Hi. New to the board and the software.

I was wondering why adding malto-dextrine to a recipe in your software seems to have no effect on gravity?

 Since malto-dextrine is not fermentable and also it is usually used in relatively small quantities (usually 4-8 oz per 5 gallon batch), I decided to treat it as an adjunct.  In addition I could find no good reference on a "standard" specific gravity for malto-dextrine.

 If you had these details it would be possible to simply add malto-dextrine to the fermentable database, depending on how you use it in your brewing process.
