Taste Rating - Color

1) On the brewing sheet (and on the computer) I see "Taste Rating (50 possible points): 35.0", what is this and is it calculated or user inputed?

2) Is it possible to print out a larger block showing the estimated color (it currently only prints text in the est. color)?

Mike,
1) The taste rating is subjective.  It is based on the 50 point scale used by the BJCP, but ultimately it reflects the value that the brewer assigns.

2) I believe if you go to "Internet Options"  on the Tools menu for Internet Explorer, and then go to the "Advanced" tab you can set the option that says "Print Background colors and Images" under the "Printing" section of that dialog.  This will allow the color background to be printed properly.
