I am brewing a porter, I am worried that the wort was too warm when I added yeast.

No gurgling after 4 hours, should I be worried?  Definitely got my sugar in there.

Worry after three days.

Yeast like warm wort.  Like it so much they will share many of their abundant special flavors with you.  Much more than when they are cold and huddled together in the mid 60's F.  Most people tend to be put off by their generosity and keep them cooler.  Heck, you might like some of the flavors perceived as "off" to other people.

They don't much care for hot, so make sure you are not cooking them over 90f.

Happy brewing
