Strange behaviour in units converting tools

While changing the unit for existing entries, (i.e. : in misc ingredients from oz to g) I had to convert manually the quantities (automatic converting would be great  ). Then while saving the new unit and quantity for the item and closing the popup, I noticed that sometimes (not always) the data displayed in the unit conversion tool is changing by itself...
