Customize Columns Greyed Out On Recipe Screen

When you open a recipe and then change the order of the columns when you right click on the column heading to save the change the "Customize Column" option is greyed out .

Windows XP Pro
Build 50
 
3 years, this is still here. Help file suggests that you can add and delete columns, but it doesn't seem to work.
