While creating or tuning your own reports for Beersmith, be sure to check the encoding of your template file.
For text files as well as html files you may save your document using UTF8 encoding (check your text/html editor options) to avoid encoding mismatches between your personalized reports and the data retrieved from Beersmith.
In html documents, you can also add this line in the <head> section of your html source :
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"/>
This will help a lot to display all reports properly, especially when using a translated version of Beersmith in your own language including accents and special chars.
Hop' this will help.
