I'm trying to figure out how to add Apple Juice as an ingredient and enter its PPG properly. From what I've read, Apple Juice has a PPG of 50, which should be a 1.050 SG, right? I entered that, but the program keeps setting it back to 1.046. Is there some sort of limit I'm not aware of?

The program doesn't use ppg, it uses ppppg.

You can either figure out the ppppg from the specific gravity by diving the points by the pounds per gallon. Or you can also add the brix reading as the % yield and be close enough.

I can't find the post where it's adding the brix as yield.
