Can not adjust recipe columns

I have seen a few topics on the recipe columns not being customizable and about it being corrected. I am running 2.0.58 on Mac 10.7.2 and the option to customize columns is greyed out.

I am also seeing issues witht he buttons not removing focus after they have been pressed.
