Hop tea

I made a 5 gal batch of american pale ale yesterday and did the 60 min and 15 min. hops additions then got side tracked and missed the flame out .75oz of cascade.  Didn't relize it until it was chilled and racked.    I will be dry hopping with 1 oz of cascade flowers in the secondary.  My question is can and should I add the 3/4 oz that I missed in a small unboiled tea after fermentation slows abit
 
I agree.  My experience with hop tea is that it turns out be disgustingly vegetal.
