Broth

While making up a recipe the other day I came across an option for broth in one of the pull down menus for hops. I presume that I has to do with all grain brews but as yet I have not been able to find any info on this subject, what's it about?

Hi,
 I don't see a "broth" option under hops.  There is a "both" option under the hop editor for the aroma/bittering type box which allows you to specifiy hops that may be used for either bittering or aroma.

 Also, on hop usage (when adding hops to a recipe) there is an option for hop usage that allows for "Aroma" hops to be used which is essentially steeping the hops at the end of the boil (without boiling it) to aid in aroma.

 If you have a specific location where it shows up it might help me to narrow it down.

Sorry miss read the drop down box. I should have read it as "BOTH"

"Both" is used to indicate hops that can be used both for bittering and as
aroma hops.  Some hops are for bittering primarily, some for aroma, and some
can be used for "both".
