Time heals all wounds (well most anyway)

S

SAHomeBrew

Back in December I brewed an IPA that I had planned on taking to a friends birthday bash in March, but it came out really malty  ??? So instead of dumping it (I have plenty of bottles for now) I just kept it in the "other room" in the house.

A full 7 months (6?) later I try one again... well almost all the maltiness has gone, the hops is finally showing up, and it's crystal clear (well not crystal, kinda a nice amber tone) but it's not cloudy at all.

Sometimes patients should win when we brew.

Don't you love that :)  Beer is a living breathing thing.

I don't touch my barlywine for a full 12 months.  I brew in on Thanksgiving and put it out of site after it is bottled.
