I plugged in the same values in both versions of BeerSmith (Linux and Windows) but get  different "total water needed" specs.

The windows version tells me 10.73 gal and the linux version tells me 9.61 gal.

In both programs I used "Single Infusion, Medium Body, Batch Sparge."  and used the same equipment profile settings.

Hi,
Send me the recipes via email and I'll take a look at them.  In other cases I've found no differences.  Take a look at the samples for both programs (provided) and I think you will find they are the same.

Ive found that after making any changes in the Ubuntu BS recipes or equipment, its best to close the recipe and then reopen.  This will re-read any setting that have changed and modify any calculations needed.

By doing the above, my Ubuntu water vols almost matches windows water vols (within .2 gal or so).
