A sorely missing feature IMHO is synchronizing existing recipes with changes made to profiles (style, equipment, mash, carbonation, fermentation) or ingredients (hops, grain, yeast, misc, water). Once a recipe is created and saved, if you update any of these items, the properties of the recipe it would affect don't get updated unless you re-select the same item so it brings the new information into the recipe and recalculates the related properties. For example, if you get a new chiller and you update the amount of loss to trub & chiller to a new volume in an equipment profile used in recipe's, the recipe won't adjust the volume properties for the mash etc... Another example, hops AA change seasonally or from supplier to supplier, if you change a hop AA in the ingredients that doesn't get reflected back to the recipie unless you do a "Substitute" of that hop, for the very same one. The same applies to Mash, Carbonation, and Fermentation profiles although changes to those are less frequent (except for the new user making adjustments as they get familiar with the software). But equipment upgrades and ingredient updates happen pretty often and if you don't review potential changes it can throw enough off to have a pretty big impact on your beer. I have also noticed that changes in ingredient prices don't get reflected back to either recipe's or shopping lists. This would also be a pretty important feature to add.
