I think I may have messed up.
Brewed 3 batches and 2 of them got this lovely white fuzzy landscape on the top while the third did not.
They were all brewed at the same time and the one that did not was a batch in the middle.
Like a dold I didn't sanitize between each batch because in the 20 years I have been doing this I have never had an infection.
I bottled the stuff anyway and there were no off smells and my taste sample of each didn't show any off flavors either...Any of you all ever get this and maybe know what the heck it is?
It is all white with what looks like colonies between a flat mat. Am I gonna die when I drink it?

It sounds like pediococcus or lactobacillus.  Time will tell if they are infected.  Beer can be flat, foam out of the bottle, be tar, sour, acidic, or nasty as time goes bye.  Luckily it has hops and alcohol will tends to kill less specialized bacteria.

Thanks for the info...I bottled it anyway and the smell was good, like it should be and it tasted about like it should, so hopefully this little Irishman got another bit o luck and dodged a bullet :D!
