Makin some hard cider. No bubbles???

S

Slatherd

I got the cider from the local mill. Non pasteurized and no preservaives. I got it to 70 degrees and added the sugar,  energizer, and enzyme to clear.

I then added the yeast, I boiled water to 100 degrees. I waited till the yeast started moving then pitched it.

But here I am 36 hours in and I got no action. No bubbles in the airlock and no activity in the fermenter.

Whats up? Did I skip a step?

forgot to add. as of now gravity is 1.040. and says 10% alchohol by vol. am I ready to go to the carboy?
