My son has asked if I could send a keg of beer for a college football tailgate party. I have a 3-gallon mini-keg that probably wouldn't prevent anyone from being able to locate their seat if they drain the thing. Have any of you shipped kegged beer before? Which carriers allow it?

Pretty sure its a federal crime....but Sam Calagione use to ship "yeast ssmples", which he evevtually found out wasn't kosher. (Per his book). Good luck.

Shipping alcohol without first giving money to government men is frowned upon. If you do it and someone tells the wrong person, you could get into a lot of trouble. I wouldn't recommend it.

I spoke off the cuff...I'm new...how does one ship samples to compition?
