Hi
First of all, I love your software and I wont be able to brew beer because I save so much time in planning.
Still, I have 3 requests for further update of your software :
Many of us use a false bottom into their mash/lauter tun and the water that is beneath the false bottom is not in contact with the grain. So it affect the mash tun specific heat (equipment profile) as well as the water/grist ratio. Is it possible to make the adjustment for that ? See topic : http://www.beersmith.com/forum/index.php/topic,6864.msg27361.html#msg27361
My other request is also about the equipment profile and is also related to the false bottom. Since the false bottom prevent the grain to occupy all the space into the mash tun, could you specify the meaning of the "mash tun volume". Is it the full space including the space under the false bottom or is it the space available for the grain over the false bottom. It would help when making a big beer. See topic : http://www.beersmith.com/forum/index.php/topic,6865.msg27362.html#msg27362
Finally, I realize that you use 3 differents words to describe the same thing through the software which can be confusing. Is it possible to standardize ?
- Brewhouse efficicency into the equipment tab and recipe design tab
- Actual efficiency into the recipe list tab
- Total efficiency into the fermentation tab
Thank you
