How do I add ingredients to the BeerSmith software that aren't in there already? For example: nutmeg, pecan extract, grated orange peel, or even some obscure grains.
 
Open up the desired ingredient list (grains, misc, etc), then on the top row there will be an "add..."  button, where "add"will be followed by "grain", "misc", or whatever.
