Red Irish Clone??

R

Rushman

Anyone have a Clone Recp. for George Killians Red Irish?

Thanks

I too have an intrest in finding a Clone recipe for Killians Irish Red - I have seen many Irish Red recipes, but never a clone for Killians.

Does any one have one that is close or similar?

having the last name killian and being a beer lover my self, I have also wondered how coors makes killians.
My problem is that I dont have any way to lager.I have brewed alot of Irish Red Ales with great results.
A good extact recipe for IRA is in the january/february 2005 issue of zymurgy.

I have always wondered why coors made killians a lager.
My thought is that they wanted to get a clear red and apeal to larger(lager) market.
how well would a ale recpie fermented with a lager yeast?

I believe the true style of an Irish Red is ALE and not lager.

Here is a good recipe for Irish Red also attached is the Beersmith Format File
