Hi,

I am new to BeerSmith and am REALLY struggling taking the attached recipe from Austin Home Brew Supply and correctly getting it into BeerSmith2.  The OG/SG cant be changed and therefore the ABV is way off.  Can anyone tell me the best way to convert this recipe from the attached PDF and get it into BeerSmith2.  AHS doesn't provide the BSM or BSMX files for import so I have to enter from scratch.

Thank in advance for helping a newbie!
Derek

I just entered the recipe manually - it's attached. You could probably copy and paste the text into another file format to get a readable format, but unless you'll be doing the conversion from a nearly identical format many times, it's almost certainly easier to do it manually. You'll notice the "Batch size" in BS is 5.75, not 5.25; I had to change it to get the "Est original gravity" to 1.072.
