Hi,
I've been using BeerSmith for a while, and have just set it up with my new gear - 42L boiler and 36L "keep cool" cooler.
The problem is that when I create new recipies or scale old recipies to this equipment, often the mash tun volume is exceeded in the mash out. I've checked my equipment (in the software!) on a number of occasions and its all correct.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this just a limitation of BeerSmith?
It specifically seems to happen with large grain bill recipies.
Matt
Here is an example - you can see that the water volume alone exceeds the mash tun volume - thats without the grain!
