I recently acquired a new computer and loaded Linux Mint 14.1 as the OS.    I have copies of my files from my windows version on a thumb drive but am a linux novice and don't know how to import or copy them to the linux version of BeerSmith.  I did notice that when I open BS 2 that under file there is no Import Wizard shown.

I run a version of Red Hat called Centos and to import files you must used the terminal window and import files to the directory you want. You have to specify the directory (folder). With Centos the thumb drive will mount as Media. I think you use the DD command to copy the files but CP may also be correct, I really don't know as I have never had a need to do this and am totally unfamiliar with Mint. Try a forum for Mint. Good lick.
