Hello, all...
I look forward to brewing a "Golden-Fig Tripel" next, and just wanted advice from folks on the addition of my sugar additions...
I originally planned to add clear candi sugar to the fermenter...after researching a bit it seems i may be better served to make my own sugar at home...just want other opinions on when you all have added your sugar for a successful tripel.
Thnx

Yep. Last few minutes...whatever you think it might take to fully dissolve and mix well.  I often add it with the immersion chiller while the boil is knocked down a bit.

I like to add my sugars at the very beginning of the boil to caramelize it.

The tripel has looked WONDERFUL in the carboy... :) i ended up putting the candi-sugar in after the high-kroussen stage began to back off...it goes in bottles next week....YAAAY!
