First Attempt at All Grain Brew - Mash Question

Hey guys, I'm about to attempt my first all grain brew, and am looking at a few recipes. I just wanted to clarify something about the recipe I think I'll attempt.
Some of it is obvious I guess, but the 2 step sparge seems confusing to me.

Mash Steps:
Name Description                                                Step Temperature              Step Time
Mash In: Add 21.04 qt of water at 159.1 F                    148.0 F                        60 min

Sparge Step: Batch sparge with 2 steps (1.14gal, 4.38gal) of 168.0 F water

Do I just add the grains in the first step (159.1F), wait an hour, then the temp should be 148.0F, Strain the wort, then add 1.14gal at 168.0F, strain into kettle with wort, then add 4.38gal at 168.0, and strain into wort/kettle?

I've been reading a lot on mashing, and think I have confused myself - Here is the Mash steps for the recipe I'm looking at. Thanks for the help.

I  found the answer to this myself after a bit of digging. Here is a great article I found that explains a lot about mashing, sparging etc in a very informative, easy to understand pdf. I hope it's ok to post this link. If not, let me know and I'll remove it...

Being new to brewing in general, this article was excellent.  We just tried an all grain recipe and I know I screwed up because the directions in everything I had read were so confusing.  Our local owner of our home brewing supplies tried to spell it out for me, but this first attempt may have been a loss (not his fault).  This article made it very easy to understand.  Thank you.

I have batch sparged in the past so I think I can help, the first water addition should probably be at boiling temps to bring your mash up to 168F or mash out tempurature. Stir recirculate til clear then hold for 10 min drain then add the second water addition of 168F stir recirculate until clear then drain again and you are done sparging.
