Minor problem with scaling misc. additions.
« on: July 14, 2006, 07:45:50 PM »
I just started playing with a free trial copy of BeerSmith. I scaled a 5 gallon Oatmeal Stout extract recipe up to 15 gallons.

I noticed that although the addition quantities for Gypsum and Malto-Dextrine were properly scaled, when you double click on those ingredients in the recipe, the "for a batch of" field was not scaled appropriately.

i.e. the original recipe had 1 lb. of oats for a batch of 5 gallons. After scaling, the oats are shown as 3 lbs. for a batch of 5 gallons.

Thanks!
Fortunately that number is not used after the ingredient has been added to the recipe - which is why the bug was probably not caught previously.  However, it is obviously something that has to be fixed, so I will certainly take a look at it and make a correction in the next release.

Thanks!
Brad
