Cannot Sort Date Descend in 1 folder, Alphabetically in another

I have a "Workshop" folder in which I create various recipes, and the "Brew Log" folder in which I place the ones I brewed (and on the date they are brewed).  If I try to sort the "Brew log" to display the latest-brewed beer at the top, it changes the Alphabetical (A-Z) sort of the "Workshop" folder.  If I then fix the "Workshop" folder, the "Brew Log" folder sort is lost.

Please fix ASAP!  Thanks.

Yep, that's how it sorts.  :-\

I do something very similar to what you're doing. I have a workaround.

I have three folders; Possibilities, Production, and Log. The Log file is sorted by date. In the other two, each recipe in the respective folder has the same date (an ancient one). If all the dates are the same, the second default is alphabetical.

Even if you do a descending date order in the log, the alpha is still ascending in the other folders.
