Hi,

I have a good supply of phos acid I use for sanitising, I usually use Lactic acid for mash ph adjustment in my light beers but I have run out and am having trouble sourcing some in my local area.

Does anyone see any problem with me using the Phos acid to adjust mash PH?

Cheers
Andrew

You can safely use phosphoric acid to correct mash pH. I use it too from time to time. Be careful though, you need less than when using lactic acid.
