Files get overwritten when trying to share over a network

I often formulate my recipes on my desktop computer, but when brewing on the patio, I use my laptop.  I wanted to share my recipes between the two computers using my local NAS instead of the Beersmith cloud (due to storage limitations) so I set both computers' documents folder to use a folder on the NAS.  Every time a Beersmith install new to this folder wants to change to that folder, it completely wipes out whatever is there and writes new default files.

You should add a routine to check for existing files and ask whether the user wants to import and merge or overwrite.

Thanks

Thanks,
Sharing over a network is not recommended for this very reason.  Two copies will overwrite data.  The recommended method is to use your cloud account, as it provides proper locking and a database for managing simultaneous access of records.
