No bornredi,  the OG Original Gravity is the initial/original Gravity in the fermenter, after the boil.

Great I got that right now to my next question how do I figure out the preboil gravity so I can adjust it thank you Steve

If you look on the BeerSmith brew sheet you will find an estimated pre-boil gravity.  The only way to see what it actually is is to measure it.
