Hi all,

Trying to setup beersmith and ibrewmaster so they are the same setup, but I don't know what settings I'm missing on here. I would think the grain/sugar calculations would be roughly the same.
When putting in the below recipe on beersmith, it shows est. original gravity as 1.075, but on ibrewmaster it shows 1.070. This is for a 6g batch and both programs are set at 70% efficiency.
Not sure where I need to adjust. I would say that usually the ibrewmaster has been more on target with my gravity measurements than BS.

Recipe is
11 lbs pale malt
2lb munich
.75lb white wheat
.3lb crystal 40L
2lb sugar

Thanks for the assistance!

My first guess would be to check that the potentials for each grain match. BeerSmith might have potentials that are a point higher for some grains.
