The Options dialog (called Preferences on the Macintosh version)  lets you set a wide variety of options used globally in the recipe design process, various brewing tools and also look and feel options for the program.  These include basic brewing defaults, the unit system used within the program, advanced constants used within calculations and look and feel options.

 

To open the options/preferences dialog select the Options command on the Tools menu or toolbar (this is called Preferences on the Macintosh version under the BeerSmith2 menu or on the toolbar.
