Title: How long does liquid malt last?

I had received a kit for Christmas and have not brewed it yet.  Is the Malt still good or should I throw it away and get some new malt.

As long as the malt is still sealed, it should be fine.  I've brewed with LME a year or two old in the can successfully.

Christmas!?!  Dear lord, man!  Get brewing!  it might not spoil...but it isn't going to become beer all by itself.  It desparately needs your help!
