As a beersmith file or .xml file: highlight the recipe in your folder, click on 'file' then 'export selected' and you will have a window pop up that allows you to name the file, designate the format and location to save it. Save it to your computer (I usually save to desktop so that it is easy to find) and then attach it to your e-mail.
As a document: highlight the recipe and click on 'file' then 'print'. I use dopdf to save it as a .pdf file. Attach as above to e-mail.
