Adding a Provided Equipment Profile

This equipment profile was provided by Blichmann for the Breweasy Compact. What is the process to add this to the add on equipment process? When I try to open it in BS3, I see nothing.

Hi,

• Use File->Open in BeerSmith to open the file
• Select the equipment profile in the open file tab, and use the Copy button to copy to clipboard
• Go to Profiles->Equipment view and use the paste button to paste it for permanent use
• When building a recipe select this equipment profile to use for the recipe

Even though there is an equipment profile for your system you should not accept that profile at face value. It is crucial that you customize that profile to match YOUR brewing process. If not then you will not get accurate results and will be continually frustrated because you are missing your gravities and/or volumes. Here is an excellent tutorial to walk you through the steps. He is using a three vessel system in the video but the concepts are the same for any other system.
