Looking for some help.  Can anyone point me in the right direction.

I am adding a yeast to Beersmith 3 and it is defaulting to a unit size of pkt.  I buy my cider yeast in 70g tubs and add 2.5g per liter of apple juice.  This is the same basically for the nutrient, but Beersmith 3 let's me add nutrient as g as the default uom so I have no problem.

Does anyone know a way round entering yeast, or do I have to add it as 1 pkt and divide 70 by 2.5 to get the recipe ratio right?

The way I measure rinsed yeast or yeast slurry is by the gram.  So I set the amount per pkt of yeast to be the cell count I measure per gram of yeast.  This way 1 pkt = 1 gram of yeast.  So if you use the same thinking with your tub of cider yeast, one tub = 70 pkts and you use 2.5 pkts per liter.
