Afternoon all.
My question, is there an add on to Beersmith 2 that I can add a cider format and ingredients?
Had a 1/2 gallon of cider left over from a food recipe and it found it's way to the back of my fridge.
Being the cheap SOB that I am, I found that the container had swelled, and I thought...hmm might as well...
Or, is this gonna have to be a paper and pencil project?
Going natural ferment (cuz it had already started) and added a cinnamon stick and a table spoon of vanilla extract.
Gravity went from 1.055 down to 1.020 in 3 days.
Not leaving well enough alone I poured the dregs from one of my homebrew ales in to see if there was any active yeast in it to help.
I am sure this will end up being lighter fluid, but what the hell, right?
