Android Timer reset

Using BS2 lite (upgraded to full) v 2.01.059 on my Sony
Mash timer was started, screen timed out as it should.
roughly half-way through I unlocked the screen and it was as if the timer was never started!
 
Hi,
  I'm not sure why this would happen.  One possibility is that Android swapped the app out of memory, but even in that case I write a timer file to record the start time and recover that on restart of the app.  Let me know if you consistently get the problem or possibly find a recipe where it consistently happens so I can run a debugger against it.
