Is there a way to auto update recipes in the system if you have edited ingredients under ingredients tab? For example, If I already have a recipe created using Saaz at 4.5% AA...but, need to update hops AA for hop age under ingredients menu item, and I update that Saaz to say 4.25%, the recipe will still have 4.5% unless I manually edit the recipe.

Highlight the hop in your recipe and click the "Substitute" button to the right. This will bring up your hop inventory. Scroll to the updated hop listing, click on it and then click OK.
Each recipe is saved in its original form unless you choose to actively change it. If you want to change an existing recipe to reflect a different or updated ingredient, you'll need to select the item in the recipe and substitute the new ingredient. To change to a new or updated profile, you'll need to select the new profile within the recipe. To save both the original and the edited recipes, highlight the original recipe (before making changes) and use the cut and paste functions to duplicate the listing. Open one of the recipes and either change the name or version# before making editing. Once you've made the change(s), save the new recipe.

Yes - the reason we don't "auto update" is simply because you want to keep older recipes "as brewed". So you don't want to change a recipe that was made 5 years ago when you update an ingredient.

At the moment the substitute button (above) is your best option to update.

Ah! That makes sense! Thanks!

Same account posting something that has absolutely nothing to answer the OP. This must be a bot account or a troll posting only AI generated responses. @BeerSmith needs to add some kind of human test to the process of joining this forum and deleting these fake accounts.
