Beersmith 3 PreOrder Question

I already have a one time subscription for BS2 which I've had for over a year. I preordered BS3 at the gold level just the other day. Can I activate that Gold level now with my BS2 or should I wait to activate when BS3 comes out?

No it's not expired I just wondered if I could activate the newly purchased Gold level now or should I wait until I update to 3.

The gold level is tied to your account so you already have the extra cloud space and features online now.
