I published the BeerSmith 4.0.22 update today. For a short time I also had a 4.0.21 update available yesterday but that had a bug that caused some platforms to not display profile and inventory/shopping choice dialogs without data. The 4.0.22 update corrects this.

- Corrected what turned out to be a single line bug in build 4.0.21 that created a blank choose dialog when choosing profiles while building a recipe and also affected many shopping list/inventory choose dialogs for adding to those lists. Updated and posted to the download quickly.

- Turned off colored backgrounds on session fields (Windows) and now instead indicate status of the fields using a small colored ball to the right of the fields.
- Corrected a bug where date was not properly updating to today’s date when you run the new session command
- Corrected printout from an open recipe so it prints the default standard recipe format instead of printing the odd dialog image of the current page
- Added a new checkbox to allow filtering of ingredients by cloud based (as well as local) inventory for better management of cloud inventory ingredients
- Added a checkbox to exclude MgCl from water profile matching as many homebrewers do not have an easy source for MgCl water salts
- Fixed inventory rounding of yeast “packages” so you can now use decimal fractions of a package in inventory and on the shopping list
- Added editable notes field on shopping and inventory items. Previously the notes could not be edited
