BS4 for Linux: "Choose Equipment" and "Choose Style" lists are completely empty

Using BS 4.0.21, 30 day trial, for Ubuntu Linux 24.04. When in a recipe window, and when clicking on the buttons to choose the equipment or choose the style, the windows that pops up is completely empty and there is nothing to choose. However, under the "Profiles" dropdown on the left of the main window, both the equipment and style lists are fully populated. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I have the same problem with the equipment and also with the options menu.
Using the New Flatpak BS 4.0.21. (licensed and activated)

In the Options menu, under the Design tab, the entered data is not permanently saved.

This was unfortunately a bug that did not get caught. It was only one line, and I rebuilt all the platforms and tested them this morning. I just posted a 4.0.22 build to the main download page to fix the problem. I don't have the flatpak done yet but will try to get that in the next day or two as well.

The options bug is still on my bug list - it appears to be only a Linux issue but I will work on that this week as well.

Yes that is unfortunately a known bug on the Linux platform and I am working on a fix for it.

I came here to see about and/or report the same issue about blank pop-up dialogs (Linux Mint 21.3, Beersmith 4.0.21_22.04), but see someone else (the OP) has already made that report.
What intrigues me, though, is the mention of a Flatpak install. Where did you find that? According to Google AI, it's not an official release. Is that wrong (the horrors!, imagine AI being wrong. ;-) )?

The flatpak is a mythical beast I had posted only for a short time. I'm trying to get the 4.0.22 build into flatpak form now so I can post it as unfortunately the 4.0.21 build had the bug in it.

Thanks. I tried installing the 4.0.22 deb package, but it won't load after the install. I purged the install and reloaded 4.0.21, which still has the blank dialogs (). I'll try it again before saying it's a "bug".
