Crashing whenever I try and open file explorer

I'm having more issues with this software. Every time I open file explorer through the programme, whenever to export a recipe or to change the directory where recipes are saved (which seems to not even exist - I literally cannot find the place it claims to be on my PC).

I dare not risk uninstalling and reinstalling because knowing this piece of shit, it'll probably wipe all my recipes.

Oh, and here's a new problem. It's completely frozen up on me and I can't even shut it down through Task Manager.
 
Are you on Mac or PC? If Mac please try downloading/installing the latest version.

If you can get it running you can go to File->Full backup to zip to make a complete backup of your data. If needed I can send instructions on how to reset everything else.

Also not sure why you are changing your directory where recipes are saved? The default location should work OK.
