Cheers,

Hey Brad!

I'm listening to this one at the moment, so my question may be premature, but during the discussion on StarSan and the foam's affect on beer (harmless for the most part) I thought of a question I wish I could have heard the answer to.  I use StarSan to adjust pH sometimes (it's quite effective) and have wondered if residual StarSan left in the fermenter before adding the wort would adjust the pH in the wort.  Ultimately, I guess I could test this for myself, but would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks,
Jared.

Hi,
I've not found any effects from the foam in starsan - and I don't believe it will have any measurable affect on the wort pH.
