Fresh whole hops

Hello, so I have BS3 and I use Fresh whole hops but BS3 does not have an option for Fresh whole hops so how do I calculate the amount to use? internet says to use 5-1 fresh too pellets. but BS3 show numbers way out to lunch if i go the 5-1.

What I typically do with fresh hops is use 5-6x the recommended amount. One way to do this is to go to Ingredients->Hops and create a new entry such as "Fuggles-Fresh Wet Hops" and then in that entry use 1/5th or 1/6th as much alpha acid. For example if the regular alpha acid % is 6% then I would use 1% for my whole hops.

That way when you use the new Fresh hop entry in a recipe it will calculate the IBUs as 1/5th to 1/6th of the original and force you to use 5-6x more hops.
